Thank you very much for your interest in our PARANÁ RIVER LODGE program

Our fishing program includes:

  • Accommodation at our lodge, which has a private dock just steps away from the building. The lodge offers excellent amenities and 10 rooms (both single and double), all equipped with air conditioning.
  • All-Inclusive Service: All meals are prepared by our in-house chef and paired with a wide selection of beverages, including an open bar and specially selected wines.
  • Rooms with en suite bathrooms.
  • 24/7 electricity and high-speed Starlink Internet.

The lodge is located in San Javier, Santa Fe Province, about 3 hours from the city of Santa Fe.

Fishing takes place in the delta waters of the Javier and Middle Paraná Rivers (near Esquina, Corrientes), aboard North Carolina skiffs powered by 90 HP Yamaha engines, featuring remote-controlled bow trolling motors and dual casting platforms.

With one expert guide for every 2–3 anglers, you’ll explore the vast and diverse waterways of the area, from the mighty Paraná River to the crystal-clear and intimate channels and creeks of the spectacular San Javier Delta. Each day, we target prime fishing spots like lagoon outlets, aiming for surface takes with floating lines, most often using streamers and poppers.

In addition to fly fishing, we also offer bait fishing using lures or natural bait (please note bait is not included and carries an additional cost).

Our Paraná River Lodge fishing programs are designed to maximize your fishing success using highly effective, proven techniques, modern skiffs, and seasoned guides.

We recommend 8/9 weight rods, preferably fast-action, along with a variety of floating, intermediate, and sink-tip lines. While weight-forward lines work well overall, during the summer months — characterized by hot, tropical weather — we suggest using lines specially designed for these conditions, featuring oversized tapers to cast large flies more efficiently.

For Pira Pita and Wolf Fish (Tararira), we use 5/6 weight rods with floating lines.
